Covidien’s Nasogastric Feeding Tubes are equipped with a dual port enteral connector, making unintentional misconnection a less likely risk. The addition of a trademark purple coloration easily signifies that this is an enteral feeding tube. Customers may select their preferred feeding tube with or without a flow-through stylet, and the tube is made of a radiopaque polyurethane material with CM markings. Furthermore, MRI compatibility is available when the stylet is removed.
