Boards can be used for: balance, coordination and proprioceptive training; ankle and knee strengthening and rehabilitation; core strengthening and stability; ankle ROM and flexibility; and improved posture.

- One ball can also be positioned off center to aid in ROM and stretching activities
- Smaller instability balls provide the least amount of unsteadiness, while larger instability balls provide the most
- Larger platforms can limit the instability
- Weight limit is 300 lbs
