The Grafco Hematocrit Centrifuge is a laboratory instrument used to measure the hematocrit (HCT) value, which is the percentage of red blood cells in whole blood. The centrifuge spins the blood samples at a high speed, causing the red blood cells to separate from the plasma. The HCT value is then determined by measuring the volume of the red blood cells.
