FREEDOM Swedish AFO features injection-molded polypropylene to provide static dorsiflexion assistance and foot-ankle stability. Polypropylene is thicker on the vertical aspect for rigidity, while the footplate is thin and can be trimmed with scissors. A heat gun can be used to modify the splint if desired. This splint boasts a low arch, open heel, and streamlined profile, so it fits easily in any shoe. Plus, a padded hook-and-loop strap for calf security.
