The kit includes a 10 mL draw volume, 16×100 mm Serum tube with a red stopper and paper label, as well as a 7 mL draw volume, 13×100 mm K3EDTA tube with a lavender stopper and paper label. The K3EDTA tube contains a liquid solution which enables obtaining either a whole blood or EDTA plasma sample.
