This Gel Mattress is a medical-grade mattress overlay that is designed to provide comfort and support for patients who spend long periods of time in bed. The overlay features a full-length gel bladder that minimizes “bottoming out” and “pitting,” and a new convoluted, egg crate top layer that vastly improves patient comfort.
The overlay also has four elastic corner straps that secure it to the mattress, a urethane coated nylon cover that is water resistant and vapor permeable, a vinyl base that is stain resistant and waterproof, and designated head and foot sections. The overlay has a weight capacity of 300 lbs.
