VICRYL RAPIDE Suture is Ethicon’s fastest-absorbing synthetic suture, perfect for surgeries needing only short-term wound support. This suture consists of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide copolymer which mimic collagen (surgical gut) suture’s performance while reducing tissue reaction. It is recommended for use on superficial soft tissues and skin/mucosa only with 7-10 day wound support.
