The Exel 1cc Tuberculin Syringe is a specialized syringe used to administer medicine and carry out a TB PPD test. Its needle width is determined by its gauge--the higher the needle gauge, the thinner the needle. In contrast to insulin syringes, tuberculin syringes are shorter and use different measurements for dosage.
