The Hill-Rom TotalCare Model P1900 bed provides maximum comfort to patients in critical condition and reduces strain on caregivers. This bed features both hydraulic and manual controls which the caregiver can easily transition the patient surface into numerous positions from either side using Point-Of-Care side rail controls and HandsFree foot controls. The hydraulic movements provide for smoother bed positioning for patients. The bed comes standard with a Short Stay Surface to provide patient pressure reduction or an optional Treatment Air Surface that provides continuous full-body pressure relief management through automatic adjustments in the air system to accommodate changes in weight distribution.
Furthermore, TotalCare offers many optional full interaction caregiver controls through a Graphical Control Interface (GCI) which operates optional functions such as bed exit alarm, integrated scale functions, foot elevation, and air mattress system. In addition, this bed offers three chair positions (chair, chair egress, and recliner) and FlexAfoot retractable foot mechanism to extend or retract the foot section. Also, battery backup is available when there is a power loss to temporarily operate the bed positioning functions.
