Offering increased comfort, it features a 5" foam pommel which controls posterior pelvic tilt and high-density foam to reduce pressure. Incorporating a water-based gel to further reduce interface pressure, it is topped with a low-shear cover to reduce skin-damaging friction. The firm base eliminates the hammock effect and its incontinent-proof vinyl cover wards off urine penetration.
