Isolyte® P in 5% Dextrose is a sterile, nonpyrogenic intravenous solution that provides electrolytes, calories, and water for hydration. It is also used as an alkalinizing agent. The solution is free of bacteriostatic or antimicrobial agents and added buffers. Additionally, the solution is free of natural rubber latex, PVC, and DEHP.
